Nostalgia Azure

Done with SAI, with blue as the only color. And threw into Photoshop for some effects.

This picture really takes me back. The first time I was determined to draw something, it was a lily (actually, it was a bird, but that doesn't count). I was drawing the flower for some research papers, and later draw it for friends. Now I drew it using my memories, so it is not a realistic lily. Consider it as some...fantasia flower, since lilies don't grow in a grass field. Lol.

So, why blue? I don't know if it has to do with the fact that my ID is blue, or my icon is blue, or even the name "XSkyeStarlX" that contains the words 'sky' and 'star' have anything to do with the blue color. Blue isn't even my favorite color. But I must be lying. Why else did I subconsciously chose blue? I don't really know. My favorite color is in the opposite spectrum of blue. But instead, I still used blue.

I'm getting too sentimental.

One fact remains: A Blue Lily is a precious thing. For me, at least.
